    Chapter 117 Side Story 12

    “Liar!”

“What would I gain by lying about something like that?”

    “…”

That, too, was true. No one handed out medals for having little experience; there was no reason to lie about it. Even so, once planted, distrust didn’t lift so easily.

Contrary to Hohyun’s thoughts, there wasn’t a shred of falsehood in Kangwoon’s words. If he were going to lie, saying it was his first time would have been more effective. Of course, at thirty-one, that would have sounded odd as well. Barring an absence of sexual drive, reaching that age without experience was nearly tantamount to admitting a flaw somewhere.

People who fancied the tiger named Kangwoon were everywhere he went. A few approached him with that intent, and if nothing about them rubbed him wrong, he would keep company. Even so, he hadn’t engaged in syrupy things like kissing with those partners. A “kiss” was, in practice, an exchange of saliva; and yet, with this compact little fox, he felt no aversion.

Was it because of how the fox jolted and fluttered every time their lips touched—too amusing to resist? As if buoyed by the tiger’s even-keeled response, Hohyun’s tail swayed lightly.

Taking in the fox whose whole body telegraphed good spirits, Kangwoon kissed him again. The ending differed from before. He did draw back as soon as he sensed the panting, but instead of lifting his mouth, he traced along the fox’s jawline with his tongue. It was far too intent to be mere grooming, and besides, Kangwoon wore a human form; people didn’t groom people. It clearly meant something else.

At the rasp of his tongue, a shiver raced down Hohyun’s spine. At this rate, ears might pop out to join the tail. Hiding a tail was as simple as keeping it to the back, but ears pricking at the crown couldn’t be concealed without a hat. Not wanting to look ridiculous in the middle of a tender moment, he pressed both hands over the top of his head.

Despite his efforts, a pair of ears popped out under his palms. Blaming the failure on alcohol out of sheer stubbornness, he gave up and stood at attention.

Ears, cheeks, even the nape—he was red enough that a passerby might think he’d overheated. The sight sparked a small flame of impulse in the tiger. After one last sweep of his tongue across Hohyun’s lips, he murmured in a low, intimate voice,

“Hyun, shall we head home now?”

He didn’t say what for. No need to waste breath. He chose to speak through action instead.

He stroked lightly at the base of the black tail jutting out, and the fox flinched, then nodded. Watching the riot of color lingering around the fox’s ears, he scooped Hohyun up the moment he got an answer. Walking hand-in-hand would be inefficient with their stride difference, and it was obvious from the earlier, long kiss that the fox’s unsteady legs were trembling.

While Hohyun floundered, unsure where to place his hands, Kangwoon took long strides. As one familiar with the area, he found the way with ease, and soon a familiar black car came into view. Before Hohyun could see who sat behind the wheel, he and Kangwoon slipped into the back seat together.

With no instruction, the car started on its own. All the way home, Kangwoon simply stared at Hohyun. Not so much as a touch or a word passed between them, yet the tension refused to dissipate. Conscious of each other to the utmost, they made long minutes feel short; within what felt like ten, they arrived. The moment the car stopped, Kangwoon took Hohyun’s hand and stepped out.

A car’s space wasn’t large enough to carry him out as well; if he tried, the fox would smack his head on the ceiling. So he opted to hold his hand instead—but as fate had it, Hohyun’s foot tangled on the way down, and he pitched forward. Out in the open, there was room to maneuver; Kangwoon effortlessly lifted him back up.

Having been through it once now, Hohyun didn’t panic and instead wriggled into a comfortable hold. So, this felt familiar, did it? The tiger, planning to do only unfamiliar things from now on, watched the fox—already well-trained to his hands—with satisfaction.

Crossing the threshold inside, Kangwoon briefly praised fortune that his little sister was at the family home. If Yuri had been there, she would have bombarded them with questions at the sight.

With the little sentry absent, there was nothing to hold them back. He headed straight for his bedroom. The door clicked shut, sealing them off—and at once he did what he’d wanted to since the car: he lowered his head and fit their mouths together.

Having personally removed the “first kiss” sticker, he allowed himself to be rougher; the sounds grew wetter. Smacking little noises filled the room as his hands went to Hohyun’s clothes. Neat buttons popped free beneath thick fingertips, and the deft touch slid from shirt to trousers in no time.

With coat, shirt, and pants whisked away, only a whisper-thin layer of underwear remained. On the brink of being returned to a primordial state in the blink of an eye, Hohyun shivered from the creeping chill. Thankfully, the lights were off; otherwise, he might have dived into a mouse hole.

Whether the night air’s bite revived the alcohol or not, his whole body felt warm. He tried to murmur something, but the coarse, thick tongue filling his mouth made words impossible. The unformed language retreated back into his head. The one blocking his mouth drew him along and seated him on the bed.

Stripping off the final layer too, Kangwoon paused. The twenty-one-year-old who had said even his first kiss was today wouldn’t know it, but certain supplies were needed for this. Between men, there would be no baby—but that meant lubricant was essential. The problem: even he, who knew that, had none on hand after years of inadvertent abstinence.

Without gel or even a condom, what might serve a similar function…? A glance around produced nothing suitable. Strictly speaking, the place that needed it was a mucosal surface; he couldn’t be sure if lotion or toner would do. After brief thought, he slid his hand over goosebumped skin. So be it—use what the body made.

There were two relevant fluids: saliva, and semen. The former was easier and safer, but it would take time to gather enough to wet him thoroughly; and the process itself—well. He shook his head. Even so, doing that to someone whose first time tonight almost certainly was—no. So he decided to draw what he needed from Hohyun’s body.

Unaware that the tiger had reached any conclusion, the fox focused only on the hand stroking his thigh. It was only a rub along his thigh, and already he was half-hard.

Light touches grew steadily stickier. The hand that slipped naturally to his inner thigh finally grasped his shaft, and Hohyun was grateful for the darkness. If the lights were on, Kangwoon would have seen him like this, laid bare.

The tiger, with no inkling of the thoughts running through that small head, merely followed the plan. Callused palm met dry skin. From a place that had never expected another’s touch, a foreign sensation crept up—ticklish, almost, or like a tingle of electricity. Hohyun let out ragged breaths.
