Escape from an Ancient Civilization Ch 190(NSFW)
by berryChapter 190 Side Story 12
Bright sunlight poured in. Lying facing the window, Nataek frowned and slowly opened his eyelids.
“Ugh…”
But he couldn’t keep his eyes open, so he covered them with his palm.
Better get curtains up, fast.
Thanks to Medeus’s help, a mattress had been laid on top of the stone bed, so the sleeping was not uncomfortable. He’d slept well, and the only exertion yesterday had been climaxing twice. Strangely, his body felt heavy. As he shifted, a solid weight pressed at his waist.
Tilting his head and glancing down, he saw Medeus’s arm wrapped around him. Carefully, Nataek lifted Medeus’s wrist. The hand seemed ready to come up obediently, but stopped midair; then, drawn by gravity, it dropped and cinched tighter around his waist. In a husky voice, Nataek spoke.
“Awake?”
Instead of an answer, a hard rod nudged his backside. Medeus slowly ground his hips against him.
“…Medeus.”
Nataek lifted his upper body with a small wriggle. In view was Medeus’s bare lower half. The blanket was wrapped entirely around Nataek. Listing a bit, he reached out.
“You gave me all the blankets… You’ll catch a cold.”
As he loosened the duvet from around himself, Medeus hugged him blanket and all and laid him back down. In a low, sleepy voice, Medeus murmured,
“I’m fine. More than that, you were curled up in your sleep. Were you cold?”
“How could I be cold with you pressed right up against me.”
Even if he had felt a chill, Medeus’s body heat would have chased it off quickly. Nataek squirmed and turned his body. Once he made it clear he meant to get up, Medeus obediently loosened his arms.
When Nataek got out of bed, the naked Medeus rose too. The blanket that had wrapped Nataek slid down onto Medeus’s hips. Without thinking, Nataek’s gaze dropped after it. The center of the blanket where Medeus’s serpent must be was bulging skyward. It was obvious what scene would unfold if he pulled the cloth away. He shifted his eyes to his own lower half. He was wearing underwear and sweatpants, that was all, and his situation wasn’t much different.
As Medeus stepped off the bed, the blanket slipped, revealing a rigidly erect shaft. The white snake that had wept toward his chest last night flashed through his mind. At the dizzying sight so early in the morning, Nataek closed his eyes.
“Why did you sleep with no clothes on.”
“Nothing fits.”
Only then did Nataek think of the pants that had gotten wet in the bathroom yesterday. It seemed Medeus’s clothes were still packed away among the boxes. With his hair a mess, Nataek headed to the dresser, rummaged through the clumped piles, and pulled out a few of his larger sweatpants.
“These are the biggest I’ve got. Put on whatever’s comfortable.”
Medeus reached out his long arm and took the clothes. He unfolded the top pair. Seeing him try to put the pants on with no underwear, Nataek clicked his tongue internally and hurriedly dug back through the drawer.
Not sure if there’s any underwear that’ll fit him…
He found a pair that clung a little less and took it out.
“Here, put—”
But when he turned, the words died.
“They’re small.”
In gray sweatpants, Medeus glanced at his groin. He put his hands in the pockets and spread his arms slightly; on the gray cotton, the shape of his length stood out starkly, like someone had slipped a forearm in there. And while the length fit Nataek perfectly, on Medeus it was short enough that his ankles were exposed.
“…”
Nataek looked at the underwear in his hand and stuffed it back in the drawer.
“That definitely won’t work…”
He went over and pulled a black pair from the pile on the bed, then held it out.
“Gray’s a no. Wear the black.”
Medeus obediently took the black ones. The length was still short, but at least it was less obvious than the gray. Even so, the outline on the black fabric was still there. Riffling through the clothes, Nataek pressed his fingers to his brow and set everything down. What Medeus had on was the largest size he owned.
Looks like he’ll have to be taken to buy some…
Because of hospital life and avoiding crowds, Nataek had ordered most of Medeus’s clothes online. But none of the orders fit. If the waist fit, the length didn’t; even the ones reviewed as long left his ankles bare. So Medeus had been stuck in capri-length pants every day.
“Medeus. Want to go on a date?”
With a sleep-ruffled face, Medeus broke into a wide smile.
“Mm. I’d love to.”
Under the bright glow, his ears seemed to flick and sway.
After washing up and a light breakfast, they got ready to head out. Nataek dug in the closet for a dark field jacket. The length reached down past his thighs; it might be a bit warm at midday, but there was no helping it. He held the jacket out to Medeus.
“Wear this.”
“It’s not cold.”
Nataek’s eyes slid to Medeus’s center. The tent had folded, and the black fabric helped soften the silhouette, but the snug fit still left a distinct presence.
“…No. Wear it.”
Finally, Medeus accepted the jacket. On Nataek it was roomy; on Medeus it hugged his shoulders without a gap. Still, Nataek felt relieved. Once buttoned, it more or less hid the shape between his legs. As he took Medeus’s hand and headed for the door, his phone buzzed.
- I’m out front. “Okay. I’m heading out now.”
He said only that and hung up. When he opened the door, a black-haired head was visible beyond the wall. Yoon Jungyeom yawned and waved from outside. Something black swung in his hand as he waved.
“Catch!”
Without warning, he tossed what he was holding. Nataek reached out to catch it, but Medeus was faster, snatching it midair. It landed in his palm: a car key. Medeus glared at him fiercely, as if Jungyeom had fired an arrow. From beyond the wall, Jungyeom shouted in aggrieved protest,
“Hey! I’m even lending you my car—do I deserve this treatment?”
With a sheepish laugh, Nataek took the key from Medeus.
“Sorry. And thanks for the car. We’ll bring it back in good shape.”
Shaking his head, Jungyeom flapped his hand dismissively.
“Bring a pizza when you come back.”
“Okay.”
He scratched his head and left without a second thought. Smiling, Nataek went straight to the passenger side and opened the door, jerking his chin at Medeus.
“Get in.”
Medeus stood there staring blankly at him, then bent to look at the empty driver’s seat.
“Who’s driving this today?”
The only cars he’d ridden in were taxis, so the lack of a driver threw him. With a playful grin, Nataek gestured to the passenger seat with one hand.
“I’ll be the chauffeur.”
He mimed the posture of a waiter escorting a guest.
Their new nest lay in a village with barely fifty households in the whole area. But an hour’s drive brought a decent-sized supermarket, and best of all, a large outlet mall. Medeus worried a lot about Nataek taking the wheel, but once the car ran smoothly, he relaxed quickly.
In the parking lot, the car stopped and Medeus naturally opened the passenger door and got out. In that moment alone, it would have been hard to think of him as an ancient man—his movements were so natural. Taking in the broad grounds, he commented,
“It’s like a mansion in Uruk.”
Opening the driver’s door, Nataek looked at him. Light brown hair tied back, gray eyes, shoulders tight in the jacket with wrists showing, sweatpants that bared his ankles—a look with far too much freedom. But even that looked simply beautiful to Nataek. Closing the door, he said,
“It’s more breathable here than the department store we went to before, right?”
Quietly, Medeus agreed.
“Is this a market, too?”
“Yeah. You could say that.”
When the leading Nataek beckoned, Medeus strode up to his side. He stuck close to him, glancing around everywhere.
In city streets, passersby have all sorts of purposes. Here, most people came for shopping. Perhaps because of that, they glanced at Medeus like he was some fascinating object. The scrutiny felt even stronger than on city streets.
At nearly two meters tall, Medeus stood a head or two above others. A towering foreigner like an old tree, looking around as he walked, was bound to draw eyes. And his own eyes darted restlessly, taking everything in. Because Nataek had avoided crowds as much as possible, even at three months into modern life this kind of scene was still novel to him. He looked like a kid at an amusement park, and Nataek couldn’t help but smile.
Too adorable, it’s killing me.
