A joint operation by the Korea Hunter Association and various Hunter Guilds to take down a cult organization.

Hwang Jae-i, the most popular and globally famous S-rank hunter in the country, finds a person imprisoned deep within the group’s headquarters, wearing an iron mask—and on impulse, brings him home.

Jae-i, who has never cared about anyone else, is a lone wolf.

Everyone around him assumes it’s only a matter of time before he sends the person back to the association. But then…

“If you say a word about what happened earlier, I’ll kill you.”

Hwang Jae-i, who hates physical contact with others, wakes up in the morning to find himself hugging someone.

That someone is Dohwa, now without the iron mask.

After several similar incidents, Jae-i begins to suspect that Dohwa might be an awakened one, but tests confirm he’s unawakened.

“…Yesterday, while cleaning, I moved the box where you kept your letters. I was afraid you’d think it went missing.”

Dohwa’s seemingly naive yet strangely wise meddling brings unexpected benefits to Jae-i,

And Jae-i comes to admit that he likes Dohwa.

‘I need someone on my side. Very badly. And to make that happen, improving my image has to come first.’

Not just for the sake of achieving his own goals,
