The Hero Hunter is on Parental Leave!

“If I’m going to die anyway… I should’ve confessed.”

Yeongung, who hides his feelings and stays by Won Iheun’s side as both a bed partner and comrade, has long harbored a secret love for him.
While the two are destroying a mutant Gate together, a hidden bug triggers, putting Yeongung on the verge of death. To save him, Iheun sacrifices himself—losing only his memories of Yeongung.

To make matters worse, Yeongung suddenly discovers he’s pregnant with Iheun’s child.
He gives up his life as an Absolute Hunter and chooses to disappear.

“It might be nice… taking parental leave together.”

Iheun eventually tracks down Yeongung, who has been living in hiding with their child.
But what will become of their relationship now?

The fact that he had come all the way here meant only one thing—he already knew everything about Yeongung’s whereabouts and identity. And Yeongung, of course, assumed that Iheun had come to deal with the newly appeared Gate.

Half-resigned, he turned back—and under the glow of the sensor light, that devastatingly handsome face appeared, every bit as perfect as he remembered.

The sight alone made Yeongung curse under his breath.

He’d always been weak to that face—that unfairly beautiful, heart-snaring face.

“I have zero intention of coming back. So just give it up and get lost.”

He was trying to steady his heart when his clingy little son, Jaehee, crawled out of the room, searching for him.

“Ah-byu-byu⋯!”
“Jaehee⋯!”

He tried to hide the child, but it was too late—Iheun’s gaze had already fallen on him.

Like father, like son—there was no denying it. Yeongung could only stare in horrified silence at the two faces that mirrored each other perfectly.

Then, Iheun smiled—that familiar crescent-eyed smile Yeongung had once loved—and said sweetly,

“I think we need to have a serious talk.”
